About Black Pepper

Black pepper is shrub in the family Piperaceae and its fruit which is used as spice after drying and crushing (Piper).

Generally it is short and climbing shrub. Its leafs are tough and has auricle, is flowered, caterpillar-like, spike Triticum durum. Its fruit has piperine, bassorin, malic and uric acid and sort of salts. It is spiced into tomato paste, pickle, food etc.. Its homeland is the Indian Subcontinent and farmed in the tropical, equatorial regions of America and Asia and in the Mediterranean countries. Its main types are Piper cubeba, Piper betle, Piper mekangense, Piper pseudonigrum, Piper salgonense, Piper guineense, etc..
